Maritime rescuers took part in the project “City of professions”

2018.

 On the 18th of August in Shevchenko park took place the "City of professions" fair. It is an international project, that has been taking place annualy in Ukraine for five years already. At the entrance, every child received a passport, a map of the professions presented and had an opportunity to get a job.
The representatives of the State Enterprise "Marine Search and Rescue Service" of the Ministry of Infrastructure of Ukraibe took part in the event and offered the children to master the profession of a rescuer.

Maritime rescuers conducted a workshop “Safe Black sea waves” in Ukrainian children center “Moloda Gvardia”

2018.

 On 17th of August in Ukrainian children center "Moloda Gvardia" within the framework of thematic days "The secrets of the Black sea waves" the employment agency of Odesa kept a number of events for children to choose a profession, among which was a workshop "Safe Black sea waves".
The representatives of State Enterprise "Marine Search and Rescue Service" of the Ministry of Infrastructure of Ukraine also took part in the event and told about their extremely interesting profession to the youngsters.

Exercises of rescue vessel “Sapfir”

2018.

 In June and July rescue vessel "Sapfir" of the State Enterprise "Marine Search and Rescue Service" of the Ministry of Infrastructure of Ukraine performed a training voyage along the border of the search and rescue region of Ukraine on the Black sea.
 Rescue vessel "Sapfir" fully fulfilled its tasks regarding the training of the search and rescue and first aid skills in all weather conditions, including thunderstorms. Speed deck boat was also involved in the exercises.

IMO auditors inspected Marine Search and Rescue Service

2018.

 In the course of national audit of Ukraine by the International Maritime Organization (IMO) the auditors team visited the State Enterprise "Marine Search and Rescue Service" of the Ministry of Infrastructure of Ukraine.
Representatives of the SE "MSRS" headed by the Director Viktor Sudarev and Deputy Director – Secretary of the State Coordination Committee Volodymyr Rabotnov provided auditors with information on functioning of the State Enterprise "Marine Search and Rescue Service", namely on search and rescue at sea, coordination of search and rescue operations, provision of GMDSS communications and long-range identification and tracking of ships.

Joint Ukrainian-Romanian SAR exercises

2018.

 On June 6 State Enterprise "Marine Search and Rescue Service" of the Ministry of Infrastructure of Ukraine for the first time took part in international exercises on the Black Sea together with Romania.
During the exercises a joint search and rescue operation was carried out on the border of search and rescue regions of Romanian and Ukraine. The coordination of the operation was performed by Maritime Rescue Coordination Center Constanza and State Maritime Rescue Coordination Center of SE "MSRS".
