A new location for speed boats of SE “MSRS” was opened in the Zatoka village.

.

Within the framework of fulfilment of international obligations by Ukraine in conduction of search and rescue at sea, the location for speed boats on the Black sea coast was expanded by State Enterprise "Maritime Search and Rescue Service".

On April 25th fast SAR boat Boomeranger RIB-1100 PRK – 04 was relocated to the village Zatoka (Odesa region).

The abovementioned vessel, 11,5 meters long, has two engines with the power of 464 kW, which gives the speed capacity of more than 25 knots. The crew consists of four members and the vessel is ready to accept five rescued people aboard.

The gratitude by the head of "Maritime Search and Rescue Service" was expressed to the head of "Ukrzaliznytsya" Evhen Kravtsov and to the director of regional branch "Odesa Railways" Sergiy Nikulin for help and support in creation of necessary conditions of deployment of the specialized fleet of SE "MSRS".

The relocation of the vessel to the new place of deployment will help to increase the efficiency of conduction of search and rescue operations in the given region in the area of responsibility of Ukraine, which was characterized by tough traffic of the merchant vessels which becomes heavier in summer.
