Maritime rescuers conducted a workshop “Safe Black sea waves” in Ukrainian children center “Moloda Gvardia”

.

On 17th of August in Ukrainian children center "Moloda Gvardia" within the framework of thematic days "The secrets of the Black sea waves" the employment agency of Odesa kept a number of events for children to choose a profession, among which was a workshop "Safe Black sea waves".
The representatives of State Enterprise "Marine Search and Rescue Service" of the Ministry of Infrastructure of Ukraine also took part in the event and told about their extremely interesting profession to the youngsters.

During the workshop "Safe Black sea waves" maritime rescuers reminded about the safety rules at sea and about the things, which you should take with you.
The children also had an opportunity to become real maritime rescuers, trying on special rescue outwear and learning about special rescue equipment.
The most exciting for the children was a rescue speed boat, which demonstrated its speed and manoeuvrability. Then the crew demonstrated the actions taken after receiving an alert "man overboard". The nominal victim was saved and provided with the first aid.
