MSRS Representatives Taking Part in IMO

.

 The 95th session of Maritime Safety Committee was held from 3rd to 12th June 2015 in the International Maritime Organisation (IMO) Head Quarters in London, UK.

Among the delegation of Ukraine there were representatives of the State Enterprise Ukrainian Sea Ports Authority’s Head Office (Oleksiy Kutsyn) and its Branch Maritime Search and Rescue Service (Alla Kuprii and Natalia Platzerova).

Among many other matters discussed during the session, there were such issues of concern for MSRS as maritime search and rescue, ships’ long-range identification and tracking (LRIT) system functioning, false alerts cancelling, as well as the problem of violation of the closed regime for the ports of the Crimea and Sevastopol city as temporarily occupied territories.
