The representatives of Maritime Search and Rescue Service took part in the 20th Conference in Odesa National Maritime Academy.

 On October 23 in the Odesa National Maritime Academy took place an annual 20th conference "Practical problems of the development of maritime radio communication, radio location, radio navigation, river information service and cyber safety on the maritime transport". The event took place under the support of Odesa branch of the Institute of Marine Engineering, Science and Technology of Great Britain.

The Minister of Infrastructure of Ukraine conducted a meeting with the Minister of Transport of the French Republic Jean-Baptiste Jebbari

 On October 15h 2019 the Minister of Infrastructure of Ukraine Vladyslav Kryklii conducted a meeting with the Minister of Transport of the French Republic Jean-Baptiste Jebbari, of the Ministry for the Ecological and Inclusive Transition.
The participants of the meeting discussed the questions of bilateral cooperation in the transport field, in particular railway, aviation, automobile and maritime fields, as well as the possibilities to invest in the infrastructural projects in Ukraine.
Within the framework of the official meeting between State Enterprise "Maritime Search and Rescue Service" and Airbus Helicopters a Memorandum of Understanding was signed, in terms of developing the possibilities of Ukraine to conduct offshore SAR operations with the help of the Airbus Н225 helicopter.
 The parties agreed to discuss the terms of further cooperation in order to provide in Ukraine efficient conduction of offshore SAR operations on the Black Sea and the Sea of Azov, with the help of specialized helicopters, after purchasing the latter.

The meeting between the administration of the SE “MSRS” and the delegation of the Embassy of France in Ukraine headed by the Ambassador Etienne de Poncins

 On October the 4th the delegation of the Embassy of France in Ukraine headed by the Ambassador Etienne de Poncins, together with the representatives of the company "Airbus" visited State Enterprise "Maritime Search and Rescue Service".
It should be noted, that this was the first visit of the Ambassador to Odessa, as he was appointed only in August this year.
The honorable guests had a possibility to learn about the activity of the enterprise, paying special attention to its main tasks and functions.
The members of the delegation had a possibility to visit State Maritime Rescue Coordination Center (MRCC Odesa), which performs the monitoring of accidents at sea, as well as communication, coordination and search and rescue in the SAR region of Ukraine.
MRCC is fully equipped in accordance with the IMO requirements (COMSAR Circ.37/2005) having two duty officers and performs its functions 24/7.
During the visit to the specialized SAR fleet, the delegation was informed, that the fleet of Maritime Search and Rescue Service is in fifteen-minute readiness to perform search and rescue operations.

The representatives of SE “MSRS” took part in SAR training in Lisbon

.

 From 25 to 26 September in Lisbon, Portugal, took place a special project training on search and rescue. The event was supported by the European Maritime Safety Agency (EMSA) within the framework of Maritime Safety, Security and Marine environmental Protection in the Black and Caspian Sea Regions project.
The representatives of State Enterprise "Maritime Search and Rescue Service" took part in the abovementioned training in order to learn about new SAR methods, technologies of the leading coastal states and to exchange experience with the SAR service specialists.
